Haven't seen a boil in last 4 trips out there, hopefully when they finally turn on again they'll hit it hard

I'm not saying the bite is back on, but they showed up where I thought they should be this year. So we will see in the next couple of days if they stay on pattern.

Got a Two Woman limit. Landed doubles every drop for 30 mins. CPR day.

I found them in 12-14 ft feeding on Hybrid Point. They pushed up on the flat at 715 am. Done by 8 am or so. Scanned around but they vanished. They go out main lake and suspend with the shad at 17-20 ft on average. Not catchable when they are suspending. Might troll up a few, but again, trolling not my thing.

The fish on the north side of the island near the point, mainly a giant school of buffalo fish. A few blue cats and channels mixed in. Sometimes a re Sandies too, but don't waist your time if u side scan it and see that massive heard of fish.

Thanks for the help out there Sunday Carey - I appreciate it!

I have given up on all the fish at the island. Have spent too many hours trying to get at 'em and only managed a few undersized cats - even drifting shad.

Hopefully it is turning on! Not gonna be able to get on the water next weekend, so may just have to play hookey one day...

Are Collin and Little Ridge still the only two ramps open? Have you ever had any success night fishing on Lavon Cary?

Bass fishing is great at night.

Sandies show up usually. But u need to be close to where they lay up at night. Who knows where that is right now. But I'm sure u could pull a few in at night with lights. Most peeps sit near the tracks at mallard.

Little ridge and Collin park are the only single lane ramps open.

Schools are on the move. Catching fish it's typical spots. Tomorrow's a Southwind so there might be a boil in the morning.

I've noticed a small pattern. It seems the Sandy's are schooling with the Buffalo. Like on Hybrid point -if you see some buffalo just off the shelf or on the shelf usually the Sandbass are right there with them. I Fished the backside of the island today. Actually took two crank baits out and trolled through the Buffalo school. You had to use side scan only. Because your lures are way behind the boat so when you see the school on side imaging you just turn your boat to troll ur baits into that school if buffs. You have to use your side imaging, because the Buffalo keep moving up and down the shelf 14-18 ft and the sand bass were right with them. I threw everything in the tacklebox while I was on the trolling motor. They would only take it trolled through the school.

I will take a screenshot of what I'm talking about tomorrow

Yesterday was bad bad. Wind was out of the south. Then east. Then west. - kept shifting.

So we caught one crappie. My pet black bass wouldn't even bite. Terrible.

Back to broken bow for trout.

Have fun up in Broken Bow with those river fish Carey - I should be out this weekend so can tell you how Lavon goes for me.

If it was a bad day glad I didn't take it off to fish... I damn near took today off, I guess I will wait for better reports and a consistent bite once the little shad all grow up.

There is a single lane at Collin Park and the small ramp at Little Ridge. Those are the only ramps open that I know of.
