last Sunday we saw fish on the West side of the dam on top... right on the bank. That was as we were driving over the dam from Buck Creek... we actually got in to a good school of sandies in the timber while bass fishing. i know this isnt much help, but its what I know. Good luck to you guys

I was there this past saturday morning. Sandies and Hybrids were blowing up all over the top. We were focusing on LMB and Crappied for the day but everytime the schools would blow up around us we tossed a slab right into them and would catch a few. We used 1oz silver/red and chart/white colored slabs.

Water we were in was 15-25ft. Hope it helps!!

Thanks. I would prefer LMB or Crappie but if something don't bite quick he will be wanting to do something else. Plus it's fun watching him catch fish.

we caught em just south of Wolf island Saturday, main lake schooling. Saw several schools all the way back from Wolf to Isle Du Bois though.

oh... we were throwing rattle traps, but I really don't think it mattered the way they are schooling, slab, spoon, grub, any would work.
throw an a rig with small grubs on it, when you get one let him run with it and they will load up.
