After the epic Texoma outing this past Saturday, many of us are itching to get back out there soon. A few are planning on hitting Highport Marina this Wed 7/23 evening. As of today, I am 95% sure I'll be able to make it Wed. Launch: Highport Marina: 120 Texoma Harbor Dr, Pottsboro, Texas Time: I am planning on leaving Frisco no later than 4:00pm. Which will have me ready to launch around 6:00pm. I plan to fish until 9pm - 10pm, or later. Weather for Wed looks good as of today. Partly cloudy, 97 hi 73 lo, 10% chance of rain, SE 4mph, 8:33pm sunset See this thread for other useful information such as lures, parking location, etc. http://texasfishingforum.com/forums/ubbthreads.php/topics/10134839/1Roger, please chime in on any tips you may have for Texoma evening fishing.

Count me 90% in. I wanted to make the last one but was heading out of town that day. Caught my 1st hybrid earlier this month. Hope to get my first striper this time.

I will most likely be able to make it as long as I can get a 360 light in time! I've got a few of the lures previously recommended so hopefully something works!

Is the Texoma license necessary or will we only be fishing the Texas side?

Texoma license is required once you are on the lake.

Only a Texas state license is required to fish the Texas waters of Lake Texoma. Texas waters are those on the Texas side of the inundated Red River channel, so if you know the lake well enough to stay on the Texas side of the channel(and aren't tempted by the 5 acre school of schooling striper just over the north side of the channel), then you are fine with a Texas license. If you'll be launching with the group at Highport, though, the channel lies just outside the mouth of the marina cove, so you'd best have a Texoma license if you'd like to move around a bit.
