So, lots of new boats from ICAST this year.
Hobie is introducing the aircraft carrier of kayaks, the PA17. 17 feet long, tandem or solo setup,
230lbs fully rigged and
900lbs carrying capacity. All yours for
$5299. Talk about excess. Better get a trailer.

Old Town has introduced a new addition to the Predator line of boats, the Old Town Predator XL. 13 feet long, 36 inches wide, 92lbs without consoles and a 600lb capacity. Of note for the Predator XL are interchangeable center consoles, one of which is a salt water capable self contained 45lb thrust trolling motor which drops into the hull. The other consoles are sonar management and storage consoles. At
$999, the motor console is quite pricey, and possibly priced out of the budgets of prospective powered Predator owners.

It has Feel Free's awesome gravity seat, with the most height adjustment available on a kayak. The Lure 13.5 also comes standard with Feel Free's UniBar and UniTrack accessory mount system.
