Does anyone have an extra for sale or know of a DFW source where I might find one on short notice? I lost mine while BTB at the Padre Island National Seashore on Friday morning. I pulled it off to remove some gear after going out through the surf and didn't notice that the lanyard had disconnected. It fell off and sank before I could get to it. Fished the Spinnaker rig and the pelican roost with little drama...just occasional bailing.

Getting back in through the surf in 3 footers was interesting, though. 'Nuf said?

Trying to find a replacement ASAP.

Probably your best bet is get in touch with the manufacturer and order a new one!

The dimensions look similar to what a perception pescador has. If so ACK has replacements that might fit. It might be quicker than going through the manufacture.

Thank you for considering my question, guys. I can have a replacement shipped to my home, but am trying to locate a cover locally. Would like to paddle my kayak in the surf again in a week. Maybe I'll order one and rig up a temporary cover.

Many thanks to Dean Brown at Bass Pro Shops for his help in getting my Ascend FS12T seaworthy again. Dean went out of his way to ensure that I had access to the needed part in a very short time, enabling me to take advantage of a kayakfishing opportunity this week that I thought would be missed.

We have not met, but I'm looking forward to that occasion so I can shake his hand and thank him in person for providing excellent customer service to this long-time BPS customer.
