I purchased a Wally Marshall Signature Series 7 foot rod from Anglers Tackle,and decided to break it in today.
Wow....I was really impressed with the sensitivity and the back backbone.I never use a pole this long while tubing and I missed a couple of fish as I was getting use to the rod.I brought home 30 fillets for the freezer after all was said and done....Rod was $59.00....

Nice group of fish there El...
Glad to hear you like the Wally Marshall 7-footer.
I like my 9 and 10 footers the best. Don't get me wrong the 7 is just a tuff but I fish mostly brush and I can get back from the pile with the longer rods... Thanks for your input!!!!

I bet you were more comfortable in that tube than me standing on a hot deck. I have thoughts of getting a tube for this time of year especially. Plus you had way more success than me today. Verywell done, nice fish.
Is that rod a one piece.
