I know that everyone has their own preference and that water conditions can dictate color selection, but are there any good all around colors or combinations for all water conditions?

Anything red/white,black with chartreuseis fair, one thing i have found that if fish are there, but not stiking well , stir a little mud, I have add a little more weight than I normally like to get the lure to stir the sand. as kid I use bass worms rig rigged Texas style with good success, but later found any rat'l trap, jig stiring sans can help
