I've had a lot of success with the silver and black Rapala jointed minnows. I never see anybody else using them.

Love the Roadrunner/Horsehead baits. So did these guys...

I always have some RoadRunners with me, and can catch bass, catfish, white bass, crappie, and sunfish with them.

Does anybody use the "Lucky 13"s anymore. I remember as a kid growing up you had to have the H&Hs but for early morning & just befre dark the Lucky 13 was awesome. I now fly fish and gave up conventional tackle about 7 years ago, but when I was looking for the Lucky 13, I rarely found it on the shelf and started ordering them off the internet.

Mine have already been mentioned. Beetle spinners, h&h spinner, and my all time favorite the 1/8 ounce road runner.... Black body with yellow hair tail.

in my opinion, you can't beat a Rooster tail in the right conditions.
from 6 bass to bull sunfish, on the same lure.
not to mention catfish from time to time

I don't know about it being underrated but the lure I've caught the most different kinds of fish on and some of the biggest fish on are the DOA CAL (catch anything lure) in rootbeer/chartruse shad tail.

http://www.worldfishingnetwork.com/florida-fishing-guide/post/doa-cal-shad-tail

Snook, redfish, black drum, spotted trout, sand trout, flounder, tarpon, goliath grouper, mangrove snapper, bonefish, lizardfish, striped bass, gaffeltop, silver mullet, black mullet, scorpion fish, bluefish, jack cravelle, houndfish, rainbow runner, blue runner, crappie, channel cat, blue cat, ladyfish, sail cat, bonnet head shark, grunts and foul hooked a 1000 lb manatee. rolfmao

A good rule of angling philosophy is not to interfere with another fisherman's ways of being happy, unless you want to be hated.

Yeah that's right. You can get a pack of curly tail grubs for $1.50 and a pack of unpainted 1/16 oz jig heads for about $1.80. I love fishing the jig at under 30 cents a pop. It can get a bit more expensive when you are dealing with short strikes/tail biters.
