The Ray Hubbard Bass Club will be holding our sixth monthly meeting of 2014 on Thursday, July 10th at Bass Pro Shops in Garland. The meeting will be in the covered patio of the Islamorada restaurant and starts at 7:00PM. Waitstaff will be ready for your orders.

We are still taking memberships for the 2014 season. Club membership costs $30.00 and includes your immediate family (spouse, kids, parents, etc.) See our Secretary/Treasurer Jeff Cartwright when you arrive to sign up.

We will go over the results from our June tournament on Lake Lavon. If you finished near the top, come prepared to share how you caught them. We will also be going over our upcoming tournament on Lake Tawakoni on Saturday June 12th. With Tawakoni being 8+ feet low, we will be going over any hazards on the lake (which are many) and also discussing the off limits areas on the lake. Bring any current information you may have. We will also be discussing the ramp we will use which at this time is still up in the air.

We will be looking for anyone that needs a partner, either on the boater, or non boater side. If you want to fish, but need someone to fish with, come on out and we'll try and get you paired up.

We will be discussing next months tournament on Lake Ray Hubbard. We will also talk summer time fishing and what's needed to take of yourself and the fish we catch. Other topics include the standings and latest info on the Top Six tournament, and giving out information on who to call to reserve your room for the November Club Championship at Richland Chambers. We also have an interesting proposal on the table from our friends with the Lake Tawakoni Bass Club to discuss.

Anyone need a backseater? Working 3pm-11pm weekdays so I can't make the meetings. Waiting on my turn to switch to day shift. I'll pay entry fee and $50 for gas. And I still have one guest pass in case anyone outside the club wants to fish.

Ronnie, give Jay a shout. Warren Whitaker might be fishing alone. I think Jay showed him around this weekend out there so he would know where he can/can't run at.
