Lost my Costa's at the lake yesterday. I had the green mirror lens, I'm thinking of trying a different lens color for low light and possibly trying a different brand.
Looking for some personal feedback and recommendations. Loved the Costa's. I actually jumped out of the boat fully clothed, couldn't get to them in time!! I was pretty upset with myself. I got over it.

If you go back with the Costa's the green mirror is the best for low light, unless you went with the sunrise lenses which is a polycarbonate lens. Mainly just for low light, dusk and dawn.

I love my Strike King S11's. Great polarization and only about 30 bucks. I have had Maui Jim's and Costa's both. Both lost. Will never pay that again for sunglasses. And while I don't have them with me anymore for a side by side comparison I don't remember either one of them helping me see into the water any better than the Strike King's.

Just bought my first pair of Costa. I'm a little disappointed. They don't seem any better than the S11 strike kings.

I just got my favorite pair ever... and they were cheap. Berkley I think, next to the strike king s11's at academy... the lens color is amazing and between that and the polarized coating, they see though water better than others I've had and tried. I was about to buy some amphibian ones since I just lost a VERY expensive pair in Lavon a few weeks ago and those are much more affordable and float, but these look great and work awesome so I'll spend the $120 I just saved on something else... probably some kick fins and a few strap on rod holders for the float tube I just got today.

I don't expect these to last 10 years like my last pair, but at $10 I will probably go back and buy a half dozen more and just keep a stash of them in a kitchen drawer for when the coating/lenses gets scratched up.

I like the Ono's but I need the readers. They aren't priced bad either.

They really aren't. Some guys who have shelled out the $$$ for Maui Jim's and Costas will argue. . .but I've worn all 3. And I can buy 5 pairs of SK-S11s for the price of one of the others. . .and the S11s work literally just as good. And when you lose or break a pair you don't want to kill someone. A lens can only be so clear and be so polarized. At some point you start paying for a name...
