The Ray Hubbard Bass Club will be holding our sixth monthly meeting of 2014 on Thursday, June 12th at Bass Pro Shops in Garland. The meeting will be in the covered patio of the Islamorada restaurant and starts at 7:00PM. Waitstaff will be ready for your orders.

We are still taking memberships for the 2014 season. Club membership costs $30.00 and includes your immediate family (spouse, kids, parents, etc.) See our Secretary/Treasurer Jeff Cartwright when you arrive to sign up. This is the last month to sign up where you can fish enough tournaments in 2014 to qualify for the Club Championship in November on Richland Chambers, so if you are on the fence, come and join us!

We will go over the results from our May tournament on Bonham. If you finished near the top, come prepared to share how you caught them. We will also be going over our upcoming tournament on Lake Lavon on Saturday June 14th. With Lavon being 11+ feet low, we will be going over any hazards on the lake and also discussing the multiple off limits area on the lake. Bring any current information you may have.

We will be looking for anyone that needs a partner, either on the boater, or non boater side. If you want to fish, but need someone to fish with, come on out and we'll try and get you paired up.

Other items on the agenda include distributing RHBC t-shirts and hoodies that were purchased at the last meeting. They came out great! We will be discussing last Saturdays Kids Fishing Derby, the second of our three community events for 2014. Fishing was pretty tough for the kiddos but a lot of fun was still had and Jack Scheel showed off his master grilling techniques at the picnic afterward. Home Wrecker!

We will be discussing next months tournament on Lake Tawakoni. Also, summer time fishing and what's needed to take of yourself and the fish we catch. If that wasn't enough, we will have Doug from BPS Garland on hand as a guest speaker to talk about your electronics. He will have a power point presentation and he also has the latest greatest update for HD that came out just a couple of weeks ago and he will update anyone that brings their units to the meeting.
