Did they not sell or are not selling very well?
All I hear about is the Lowrance touch screen 10 and 12" models.
Want to start saving my pennies but, I guess not for a 360.
Input ?
God Bless

I have and use the Humminbird bow 360.

If you like seeing where stuff is all around you and how far it is, that is the technology that will do that.
I sort of prefer to not display what is behind me in shallow water since any fish would have been scared away by the boat.

Since getting that, I don't use SI as much when I am fishing.

I took this screen shot last week of beds using my preferred setting:

That is awesome, it's actually showing, looking straight down, up to 40 ft away?
Is that correct?
Like Lee, I am starting to look into each brand, for recreational/pleasure fishing,
and have not heard much at all about the 360, until now.
Great pic, thanks for sharing

Have they fixed the issue of having to use the transducer that sticks down below everything on your boat? That was a deal-breaker for me. Very few bass fishermen stick any transducer even at pad level. I can't imagine having something sticking down that low without it getting broken off or tearing out of your transom.

The ONLY way the transom 360 can see forward is to be below the hull bottom.

The bow model solves that so you get a good forward image. It can be just below the water's surface. It has to be just above the trolling motor prop radius.

Most are going with the trolling motor transducer now only

Got it. Thanks for the info. That's a home run for HB then. I assume the tm transducer gives you about 270 degrees of coverage? Probably can't see behind, but you can get everything else. That's all you really need for most bass fishing.

Ok, starting to get some feedback. I have only seen one boat on Eagle Mountain Lake equipped with one. The part about showing whats ahead of you is GREAT. I could care less about behind me...LOL. Too late then.....side imaging, well I'm still trying to understand my Hummingbird 598 ci SI Combo.
It gives a LOT of information, just have to understand what its' saying.
Good input and thanks for the image.
How well does it actually show fish? Sounds like your more than happy with it.
Just always hear about Lowrance 10" and 12", especially the new touch screens....
but, I really like the Hummingbird line.
Have a SAFE/HAPPY Memorial Day
God Bless

No, the bow 360 gives almost complete 360 scan. The trolling motor itself blocks some of the scan area and creates a less detailed image in that area. Just doesn't do high in the water column where the hull is so the very shallow water coverage is less.

This is a road bed that a bass was on, I caught that one and it gave me the pattern to catch 14 more. You can see the motor blockage at about 5 o'clock.
The bass is about at 3 o'clock to the right of a stump shadow.
View this from about 2' from your computer screen to see the details.

This is the next screen shot before I caught the bass. I moved some and so did the bass. The motor was in a different position so its blockage was more.

That's a great view.
What models does the 360 image work with.
Can it work on the 5-7 in screens or you have to get the bigger ones?
