I have 16 Bee Ready Rod Holders on my boat had them only a few months and the yellow parts on them are now all sticky like they have melted. It makes a mess all on your hands and my rods just wondering if any one else has had this problem? They are outside but not direct sun light.

Thanx,
JJ

Mine have never gotten sticky either. They've faded some but that's expected being outside.

Yea fading is expected and not a problem, they emailed me back today saying he has never heard of that in 10 years.

Hmm. If they can't fix it for some reason, I'd expect you could strip it off and re dip in Plastidip

He said, he has not heard of that in 10 years, asked if I have cleaned them with something or if gas has got on them. Somethingelse is causing this on your boat only. Some chemical has gotten on them. I responded to his email I spray my boat down with water when I use it I don't use any soap or anything, do you sell just that piece or do I have to buy a whole set up? I sent that back as soon as I got his response and I have not got a response yet. For $20 each and $81 each for the 3 rod holder. I am hoping they can replace or discount me the parts to fix em.
