Jump to new posts baiting an area in moving water. by Fishman12 @ Today at 11:39 AM

I am working a scout camp off the brazos this summer and I am having trouble figuring out how to bait this area for catfish because the bait won't stay if I just throw it out. Do any of you have any better ideas for trying to pull the fish in.

Does anyone know what paint can be applied to soft plastic baits that will not melt them or come off in water. Obviously not water based - but I think model paint may cause the plastic to melt. I did another post on this and got some suggestions fo

IMO go with a Suffix braid orange and tie a fluorocarbon leader 3-4 ft on the end with a uni knot. For example I go with 20lb braid and tie 6lb fluorocarbon. They have the same diameter. The benefits are no memory, no line twist, super sensitive.
